Both of these companies produce hides that are tanned right here in the USA. This is important to us in giving you the highest quality leather and finished product that we can. Our waxed thread also is sourced from a company in Maine. We recommend applying Smiths Leather Balm as needed to keep your leather supple and strong. Their balm is made in Maine with three natural food safe ingredients, organic cocoa butter, organic beeswax, and almond oil. That's it.
